 Waverley

The last sea-going Paddle Steamer in the world ..... my journey continues

......the sail continued through the Tail of the Bank, round into the Firth of Clyde to our first port of call, Largs where some passengers came on and some got off. After a short stop we were off again.

As we sailed from the pier, on the Waverley, the Caledonian MacBrayne car ferry to Millport sailed out...see below

Largs, one of my favourite places, lovely photo!

.

Leaving Largs behind we then sailed across the Firth of Clyde
and headed for the Isle of Bute and Rothesay.

.
Photo below the Waverley sailing into Rothesay

.

...and here she is,
a very good photograph of the Waverley taken from Rothesay pier

Glasgow Fair Monday

We disembarked at Rothesay around 1.00 pm, the Waverley would be back for us around 7.00pm.  The sail continued..............and we went for a game of putting and some refreshments!
