  Streets of Bridgeton

Finnart Street

When this old photo was taken
Finnart Street
was known
as Howard Street

Surprisingly little change to the exterior of this old tenement.....a pleasant change.
The church in the background is Sacred Heart Chapel which was built around 1910.

May 2003, extract from e-mail, GlescaPal, Anna Bain, Bridgeton, Glasgow

Where your car is parked the houses at the corner going at the other end, not
the chapel end, is where I am. I can look out my window to the left and see that building."
