Email July 2008, Steve Dunn, Norwich

Hello Webmaister, my family lived at 35 Dunn Street during 1891 and 1901 censuses, but are sadly not around any more. I'm trying to figure out their movements at the beginning of the 20thC and am wondering when they might have left Dunn Street. Do you have any idea roughly what decade that tenement block was demolished?

Also, I'm not sure what age you are but there's a picture of a soldier from my family who I'm trying to identify on my website. I think he lived in the Dalmarnock area. Any chance you could take a peek and see if he looks familiar or whether you know anyone who could help: http://www.stevedunn.com/BlackWatch2ndBatt.jpg  Cheers, and thanks for putting all those great old pictures and stories online, Steve Dunn, Norwich
