Oct.2010 extract from email, James Lockwood, London
Hello there, I happened upon your fine website and, whilst reading the pages, I noticed you mention a bloke called Ronnie, now living in London.  The Orange Order in London finds that brethren (and sisters) from elsewhere in the UK don't realise we exist, so if this bloke or any friends of his are interested in getting in touch with us, please let us know.  I suspect someone from LOL 1689 was in touch with you back in 2007.  We are particularly keen to hear from anyone wishing to reactivate their membership and transfer 'down south'.
Thanks, James Lockwood,  WM, LOL 779

Webmaister: I remember going  to the Caledonian accordion band concerts, under the leadership of Billy McPhee, in Bridgeton Public Hall and at these concerts a wee lass called Marie Lawrie used to belt out her favourite songs, she went on to become the famous Scots singer Lulu
I loved these concerts and they were always a sell-out.
