The "Peoples" Palace, Brian said
"you cannot hire it for a private function when it would normally be
open to the Public. So you have to wait until it is closed, in our
case, it started at 6:00 pm and ran till midnight. The cafe area is
turned into a bar for the evening and the caterers laid out tables
for a buffet within the garden area beyond the cafe. In the large
cafe area itself all the tables were laid out for the guests and we
had the run of the whole Winter Gardens, but the museum was closed
after we had made our entrance through the main doors.I can
certainly recommend the venue and the caterers" |
