The 185th Glasgow Company, Boys Brigade Pipe Band escorts a Sunday school trip from Springburn North Church  in Elmvale Street, marching along Springburn Road at the junction of Elmvale Street. (Part of Springburn North Church can be seen on the left.
They would be joining up with a steam locomotive and carriages at the nearby Springburn Station to take them to their destination.

Extract from guestbook, W.K.Cairns (age71-80), March 2003, Redford, MI, USA
"I really like the street scenes. I was in the Boys Brigade and my older brother was in the BB Springburn Pipe Band.  Great site."
